PRESCHOOL! (Finally!)

Boy, we love our kids, but sometimes preschool is a HUGE blessing to mom's! This is Jace, who is now 4. He started preschool this year and temporarily struggled with a bit of separation anxiety. After several hugs and kisses, I would think our good-byes were over until he'd turn around and chase me down, screaming "MOM, give me a hug! Let me kiss you!". This was traumatic for both of us, but I'm happy to say he's calmed down and enjoys going. I enjoy the time he's away because it's 2 hours I don't need to act as Brylee's bodyguard!

Our Little Miracle!!!

This brown hair, blue-eyed beauty is our sweet baby, Brylee. She was born last December and hasn't allowed us a dull moment since! She has spent a total of 31/2 months of her short life at Primary Children's Hospital, due to heart, respiratory, and other issues to this day that are unknown. What we know for sure is that inspite of the odds and several doctors opinions, she survived and is thriving! It brings tears to my eyes when I look at her every day and remember that we almost lost her. She is such a blessing and brings us more joy than we could've ever imagined. We thank Heavenly Father every day for the opportunity we have to enjoy her sweet spirit, funny faces, sloppy kisses, and super-fake cries. This is a new thing that makes us all laugh, then she laughs, and her tantrum is over. Boy, they learn young! She always gets her way, but she's earned it. Our older kids adore her- Jace tries to wrestle her, Kaleigh wants to carry her everywhere, and Logan just thinks she's pretty neat. Thanks to all of you who prayed for her. We were strengthened, she survived and we know that we couldn't have made it through without the help of family, friends, priesthood blessings, and thank heavens for modern medicine!
